The main beaches in Bali are Kuta, Legian, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Lovina & Candidasa. Each of these beaches offers a unique vibe; however all beaches have thing in common & that is that they have plenty of accommodation options from resorts to luxury Bali villas & so depending on your budget & requirements, you can select your accommodation & have the sand right at your doorstep.

Here is a brief look at what each beach has to offer.

Kuta beach: By far of the most popular beaches in Bali, Kuta is the party zone of the island. In the work of the day, you can go surfing, sun bathe, hang around, play volleyball; in the evening enjoy the sunset; & then it is time for the party to roll. There is a lot of places to eat & drink on the beach.

Sanur beach: Counted amongst the most stunning beaches in Bali, Sanur beach is about a0 minutes drive away from the capital Denpasar. Stay in your own Bali villa, wake up to the sounds of the water washing ashore, & after dawn, take a canoe to explore the outlying islands. Given the beach is surrounded by corals, it is a preferred location for those interested in snorkelling. The beach is a refuge for water activities & you can try out surfing, jet-skiing, touring on glass-bottom boats, canoeing, windsurfing, & sailing. Aside from absorbing the sun & enjoying plenty of water activities, you can also explore the nearby countryside.

Legian beach: For a more laid back beach experience, check out the Legian beach. The beach is less touristy but offers lovely facilities. You can fundamentally relax, take in the scene or indulge in something more active like parasailing, surfing, & snorkelling. However, given the strong currents, swimming on the beach is not recommended.

Jimbaran beach: This beach is secluded & is ideal for those who need their own personal space in the sun. You can spend the day absorbing the sun or spending calm hours running on the soft white sand. The sunsets here are spectacular & made all the more enjoyable by the tranquil surroundings.

Lovina beach: The landscape here is different from the other beaches. The sand here is black & volcanic & the reef present here ensures that the water is safe for swimming. As with other beaches, the sun rises & sun sets are spectacular & in the evenings, the fishermen boats returning with the day's catch present a sight.

Nusa Dua beach: This is thought about to be the high-end resort of Bali, something which is obvious when you think about the high finish accommodations here from resorts, star hotels & luxury Bali villas. The shallow waters are ideal for swimming & there is lifeguards on duty. Besides, the immaculately maintained 18 holes golf work is also located here
